It was very interesting to read it from the perspective of an Indian living abroad and observing the changing attitudes of non-Indians. I guess we need to take hope from the achievements and work hard to reduce the gaps and failures in meeting some of the challenges. Like someone said "a failure is just an event which has not yet been converted into your advantage". Our population was our "failure" for so many years ... Has now been converted to our advantage by having the youngest demographies among all nations. Our "brain-drain" was a "failure" when all the bright kids brought up on our excellent professional educational system (IIT, IIM) and who benefitted from our subsidy of quality education, then left to more prosperous nation have now turned to become our "success" with them spearheading the technology boom back in India. <br /><br />India is still the land of Opportunity and great hope.
